MIKE STALENHOEF

His grandmother’s fishing stories inspired Mike Stalenhoef to get involved in fishing at an early age. In a local canal he soon caught his first eels and sticklebacks with worms he dug himself. It didn’t stay at these first catches. The local canal also had a healthy population of pike and perch. Mike’s love for fishing predatory fish was born. Through the years he has specialised in fishing zander. This resulted in entering in many zander competitions with his brother as team mate, of which he managed to win a few.  

Mike’s fishing boat is stationed at his house boat in the Zaan, he is able to go fishing whenever he wants in his local waters, like the Alkmaardermeer, Noordzeekanaal and De Zaan. Boat: Fully equipped Alumacraft Competitor 165 Tiller (max. 3 persons).
Techniques: Zander: vertical and diagonal jigging, dropshot, trolling, bait fishing.
Tackle: Rods, reels and lures on board for clients to use.
